SOCIAL EQUITY
Creating Opportunity. Building Sustainable Futures.
The Marke Foundation
The Marke Foundation believes everyone deserves the opportunity to succeed and build a healthy, meaningful life. Our Social Equity Program moves beyond conversation to create practical pathways for people and communities that have historically faced barriers to education, employment, entrepreneurship, and economic opportunity.
For The Marke Foundation, social equity means creating fair access to opportunity. We support initiatives that help individuals develop life skills, business skills, education, creativity, and entrepreneurial opportunities that can lead to lasting independence and success.
Turning Equity Into Opportunity
Green Concrete
Concrete is one of the world's most widely used construction materials, but its production is also a significant source of carbon emissions.
The Marke Foundation explores innovative approaches to more sustainable construction, including the potential use of residual materials from cannabis extraction in the development of green concrete. By exploring new uses for materials that might otherwise become waste, we hope to support both environmental sustainability and new economic opportunities.
Documentary Films for Social Impact
Powerful stories can change perspectives and inspire action.
The Marke Foundation partners with thoughtful, socially conscious filmmakers to develop documentary projects that bring important social issues to wider audiences. Through authentic storytelling, we aim to increase awareness, encourage meaningful conversations, and inspire people to become part of positive change.
Marke Foundation is a proud supporter of the award-winning documentary film, Being Michelle.
Creating Change Together
By connecting social equity, education, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and storytelling, The Marke Foundation works to transform ideas into practical opportunities that can strengthen individuals and communities.
